Buzz’s Journal. Philosophically speaking, America’s crummy airlines are doing wonderfully well.

The first-century Roman philosopher, Epictetus, maintained that a certain degree of physical discomfort was an integral part of a rich travel experience.  Judged by this standard, America’s s miserable airlines are excelling.  As for me, I’d prefer a less philosophic airline industry.
